Community Meeting to Envision Sunnyvale’s Library of the Future

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – A library means different things to different people. Modern libraries have changed dramatically over the years, offering a much broader range of services and collections than ever before.

In Sunnyvale, the Library is a community hub. Library use and circulation have exploded in recent years, and the City is now at the point of discussing the Library of the Future.

In an effort to create a shared community vision for the Library, staff of the Sunnyvale Library would like to invite community members to participate in a special meeting Wednesday, July 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Library’s Program Room. What services, collections and spaces would you like to see in your library? By sharing your thoughts and ideas, you can help to create Sunnyvale’s Library of the Future.

No registration is required. The Sunnyvale Public Library is located at 665 W. Olive Ave, across from City Hall. Free parking is always available, and VTA line 54 serves the Library. More information on Library programs is available on the Library’s Web site www.sunnyvalelibrary.org, or by calling the Information Desk at (408) 730-7300, TDD (408) 730-7501
