CITYSKILLS OPENS REGISTRATION FOR FALL COURSE
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Applications are now being accepted for the next CitySkills program. CitySkills is a basic, low-cost course which teaches how to effectively work with local government.
CitySkills is offered through a partnership between the City of Sunnyvale and Silicon Valley Leadership (SVL), and is a way for Sunnyvale community members to gain experience in civic engagement and leadership with only a small time commitment. CitySkills will be held over four Thursday evenings, beginning October 6. Cost is only $15 for the entire series.
CitySkills topics include: goal setting, City services and government structure, how Sunnyvale is managed, presenting your views to government, City budgeting, impacting city decisions, Sunnyvale’s hot issues and conflict resolution.
Registration for the program will be open through September 1.
