REMEMBERING SUNNYVALE: BRIDGING THE GENERATIONS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – In a unique reflection and exploration of Sunnyvale’s past, present and future, the City of Sunnyvale recently brought together Sunnyvale seniors and teens for a discussion. The exchanges were videotaped for “Remembering Sunnyvale: Bridging the Generations,” a special 45-minute program to be aired this month on KSUN-15, Sunnyvale’s government-access cable television channel.

Funds for the program came from a California Council of the Humanities grant entitled California Stories Uncovered, given to the Sunnyvale Public Library earlier this year. “Remembering Sunnyvale: Bridging the Generations” will air at the following times:

  • Monday, September 26, 9 a.m.
  • Tuesday, September 27, 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, September 29, 11 a.m.
  • Friday, September 30, 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 1, 11 a.m.

The special broadcast of “Remembering Sunnyvale: Bridging the Generations” will be followed by an encore presentation of “Sunnyvale Voices,” an historical celebration of Sunnyvale,  which was first broadcast in 2002.
