NOVEMBER 8 IS ELECTION DAY IN SUNNYVALE
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – November 8 is election day, and voters in Sunnyvale will have the opportunity to fill three seats on the City Council and decide several local ballot measures when they go to the polls.
The ballot measures include proposed changes to the Sunnyvale Business License Tax and Transient Occupancy (hotel) Tax, as well as three proposed amendments to the City Charter regarding board and commission terms, city manager residency requirements and the role of the Heritage Preservation Commission. The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters’ Office will conduct early voting on November 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their offices, 1555 Berger Drive, Building 2, San Jose. Any registered voter in Santa Clara County may cast a ballot early for the November Consolidated Special Statewide Election.
