October Songfest at Sunnyvale Public Library

 

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Greta Pedersen will present the lively sing-along “October Songfest” at Sunnyvale Public Library, Thursday, October 5. Beginning at 7 p.m., the program celebrates the season of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns with songs, sign language, guitar and lap dulcimer accompaniment. The program will be joined by a fascinating variety of harvest-inspired percussion instruments which members of the audience will be invited to play.

 

A former Bay Area resident now living in Portland, Oregon, Pedersen has appeared nationally in concerts, arts festivals, schools and on television and radio. Her music has been licensed to numerous projects including Scholastic, Inc. and various video soundtracks, and her Music is Magic video has been broadcast on TLC.

 

Sunnyvale Public Library is located at 665 West Olive Ave., across from City Hall. Free parking is always available, and VTA line 54 serves the Library.
