SUNNYVALE COUNCIL SCHEDULES ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY SESSION
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale City Council has scheduled a study session to review the City’s environmental policies and practices. The meeting, which is open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, January 6. The session will be held at the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive.
Sunnyvale has a decades-long track record of environmental concern and has taken many steps to become more environmentally sustainable. The City has long considered this to be part of the stewardship of the City, and an ongoing responsibility.
With increased community awareness and interest in sustainable building practices, the study session will allow Council to receive information from staff about the City’s history and ongoing efforts in environmental issues.
