CITY OF SUNNYVALE TO HOLD TOWN CENTER REDEVELOPMENT OUTREACH MEETINGS
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – The City of Sunnyvale has scheduled two public meetings to inform the community about the current status of the Sunnyvale Town Center redevelopment project. Last month, City Council granted preliminary approval to a request from Fourth Quarter to sell the project to a new development team of RREEF and Sand Hill Properties. The City’s expectation is that with a transfer, a new developer could restart work at the downtown site later this year.
The outreach meetings will be informational in nature, and will include presentations by the City and an opportunity to meet the proposed new developer. This will be an opportunity to learn about the next steps in this important project in the heart of our City.
The meetings are scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 9 a.m., at the Senior Center, and Wednesday, January 24, 7 p.m., at the Community Center. Both meetings will cover the same material, allowing those interested to attend whichever session is most convenient. The Community Center and Senior Center are both located at 550 E. Remington Drive, and are served by VTA Bus Line 55.
