SUNNYVALE SEEKS MEMBERS FOR MULTICULTURAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Applications are now being accepted for the City of Sunnyvale’s new Advisory Committee on Multicultural Diversity and Outreach. Sunnyvale City Council authorized funding to create a two-year pilot committee to advise staff on City programs, activities and potential study issues related to diversity and multicultural outreach. Applications are available at Sunnyvale City Hall, the Sunnyvale Community Center, Sunnyvale Public Library and the Columbia Neighborhood Center. Applications may also be downloaded from the City’s Web site, www.sunnyvale.ca.gov.

The committee will meet bi-monthly, starting in fall 2007. The meeting schedule and other details are outlined in the application packet. Applications must be received by 5 p.m., Friday, August 31.
