SUNNYVALE SEEKS NEW BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – The City of Sunnyvale is looking for volunteers to serve on a number of advisory boards and commissions. Board and commission members are appointed by the City Council, and advise Council to help set direction for the City. Special requirements or qualifications such as residency, voter registration and professional experience may be required. The City accepts applications for boards and commissions on a continuous basis.

Recruitment is currently underway for openings on the following boards and commissions:

• Arts Commission
• Board of Building Code Appeals
• Housing and Human Services Commission
• Personnel Board (current opening requires nomination by a City employee or employee association)

Sunnyvale resident Carrie Bosco was recently appointed to fill a vacancy the Child Care Advisory Board.
