SUNNYVALE TO HOLD OUTREACH MEETING ON COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Members of the public are invited to a community outreach meeting to comment on an update of the City of Sunnyvale’s General Plan, aimed at encouraging community involvement. The meeting will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, August 30 at City Hall Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Ave.

The Community Participation sub-element of the Sunnyvale General Plan was originally adopted in 1983 and last updated in 1995. Staff is now updating the sub-element to reflect the City’s continued commitment to community engagement in relation to current census data and trends.
