SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Videotaped statements prepared by Sunnyvale City Council candidates will air throughout the month of October on Sunnyvale’s government-access cable channel, KSUN-15. Between October 1 and November 2, voters can tune in once a day to see these three-minute statements, which were produced at the candidates’ expense.
To ensure fairness, two programs have been produced. The seven candidates appear in a random order on one program, and in the reverse order on the other. The programs will alternate daily, and will be broadcast at various times of day to ensure as many viewers as possible will be able to see the statements.
KSUN-15 is available to Comcast cable subscribers living in Sunnyvale. A broadcast schedule is available at KSUN.inSunnyvale.com. For more information, contact the Sunnyvale Communications Office at (408) 730-7535, TDD (408) 730-7501, or e-mail communications@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us.
