SUNNYVALE COUNCIL SWEARS IN NEW BOARD MEMBER
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale City Council swore in a new Personnel Board member at last evening’s (Tuesday, October 16) meeting. The new member serves on a board that is advisory to City Council.
Glenn Hendricks, with a term expiring June 20, 2008, was administered the ceremonial oath by City Clerk Gail Borkowski. Hendricks joins Branden Fryer as the newest members of the Personnel Board. Fryer’s term will expire June 30, 2010. Both were appointed to the board by Council last month.
The City of Sunnyvale conducts a continuous recruitment for openings on its boards and commissions. Currently, the City has openings on the Arts Commission, Board of Building Code Appeals and the Housing and Human Services Commission.
