Low-cost flu shots at Sunnyvale’s columbia neighborhood center

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – With flu season here, the City of Sunnyvale and the El Camino Hospital Immunization Program are offering low-cost flu shots at the Columbia Neighborhood Center. On Tuesday, October 30 and Tuesday, November 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., flu shots will be available for $10, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Flu shots are recommended for anyone age 50 or over; children 6 months to 5 years; people with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension or asthma; health care personnel or those caring for children, seniors or persons with chronic illnesses; and women who are pregnant during flu season.
