SUNNYVALE PUBLIC SAFETY SEEKS ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING BURGLARY SUSPECTS
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who may be responsible for a series of residential burglaries in the City.
Since early November 2007, DPS detectives have investigated 13 residential burglaries of a similar nature. In each case, one or more suspects entered homes by forcing open a door or window during daytime hours when residents were not at home. Once inside the house, the suspects stole a variety of valuables, including cash and jewelry.
One of the burglaries was captured on a Web cam located inside a victim’s residence. The camera photographed three different suspects inside the house during the commission of the burglary. One of these suspects has been identified as Rosendo Miguel Orduno, 22 years old, from San Jose. He is currently in custody in the Santa Clara County jail. DPS detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two other males captured in the photographs.
Anyone with information about the identities and whereabouts of these two men is asked to contact Sunnyvale Detective Jeff Hunter at (408) 730-7120.
