SUNNYVALE TO RECOGNIZE CHILD CARE PROVIDERS AND CENTERS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – The City of Sunnyvale’s Youth, Family and Child Care Resources Division has announced a new recognition program that replaces the annual Awards for Excellence in Early Education. The City will recognize all child care providers and centers for their hard work and dedication to educating young children in Sunnyvale.

April is the Month of the Child, and in celebration of this event, a certificate of recognition will be given to all Sunnyvale child care providers. This certificate underscores the importance of high-quality early education in children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The program continues the City’s recognition of child care providers and centers for their commitment to serving children in the community.
