MAYOR SPITALERI SETS PUBLIC OFFICE HOURS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale Mayor Anthony (Tony) Spitaleri has announced he will open his office to the public Monday afternoons. Spitaleri, who will serve as mayor for the next two years, has stated he intends to keep open public hours for as long as he is mayor.

Sunnyvale City Councilmembers and mayors have recognized both the importance and, sometimes, the difficulty of involving the community in government. Spitaleri’s creation of open office hours is a move to make the mayor more accessible to every resident of Sunnyvale and to provide everyone an opportunity to air their opinions, concerns and thoughts about the City of Sunnyvale.

Mayor Spitaleri’s open office hours are Mondays, except holidays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. The mayor’s office is located in City Hall,
456 W. Olive Ave., and is served by VTA Lines 54 and 22.
