volunteerS to help clean up litter in sunnyvale

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Join the Great American Litter Pick Up on Saturday, April 12, and help keep Sunnyvale shining. Your effort will help support the Silicon Valley Anti Litter campaign.

The City needs 40 volunteers to help clean up litter and debris from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The program is open to everyone, although youth under the age of 18 need supervision and transportation to cleanup sites. Gloves, pickup sticks, safety vests, trash and recycling bags will be provided.

Registered participants will be assigned a check-in location at either Murphy Park or the Columbia Neighborhood Center, and will receive further instruction the morning of the event.
