SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Two upcoming programs at Sunnyvale Public Library will feature Hooked on Nature’s Diane Gordon. Hooked on Nature is a San Jose-based organization that strives to inspire adults to help children develop loving relationships – with the Earth, each other and all that is.
Parents and caregivers are invited to learn how to enjoy nature with children, while at the same time developing their child’s cognitive, pre-reading and pre-math skills. This session will be Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. Registration is required for this program and registration begins Monday, April 7 at the Children’s Desk of the Library.
Diane Gordon will present a program for families on Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages are invited to an interactive program involving seeds, bubbles and stories. No registration is required for this family program.
Diane Gordon is a founder and director of Hooked on Nature’s children and nature programs. She specializes in parent education, early childhood and family literacy.
