sunnyvale prepares for 17th annual citywide garage sale day

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale residents and garage sale aficionados throughout the Bay Area are preparing for the City’s 17th annual Citywide Garage Sale. On Saturday, April 19, shoppers will find treasures of all kinds, including collectibles, furniture, sports gear, antiques and countless other household artifacts, all being sold at the hundreds of garage sales to be held at individual homes throughout Sunnyvale. Sales hours typically are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lists of sale locations will be available by April 16 at City Hall, the Sunnyvale Community Center and online at GarageSale.inSunnyvale.com. The City of Sunnyvale coordinates this event to encourage the sale of reusable items rather than discarding them in the landfill.
