SUNNYVALE, Calif. – With a preliminary budget now prepared by the city manager for Sunnyvale City Council review, a budget workshop study session is scheduled for Friday, May 23. The workshop is one of a series of meetings that make up the City’s Fiscal Year 2008/09 budgeting process, culminating with the adoption of a new budget. A public hearing will be held during Council’s regularly-scheduled meeting Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. Council is scheduled to approve a new budget at their June 10 meeting.

The May 23 budget workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. in City Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Ave. The workshop will be broadcast live on KSUN-15, the City’s government access cable television station, and will be rebroadcast throughout the following week.
