SUNNYVALE COUNCIL SELECTS NEW COMMISSIONERS
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale City Council selected 15 applicants to fill vacancies on nine of the City’s 10 boards and commissions. Board and commission members serve on a voluntary basis in an advisory role to Council.
The new appointees are: Arts Commission – Robert Obrey; Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission – Andrea Stawitcke, Patrick Walz, and Ralph Durham; Heritage Preservation Commission – Frenchie Marsolais and David Squellati; Board of Library Trustees – James Griffith; Child Care Advisory Board – Lisa Taiz; Housing and Human Services Commission – Pat Plant and Demi Yezgi; Parks and Recreation Commission – Howard Chuck; Planning Commission – Dianne McKenna and Nick Travis; and Personnel Board – Stephanie Saprai and Glen Hendricks.
Council made the selections at their regular Tuesday evening (June 10) meeting.
