POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN ROBBERY INVESTIGATION
Sunnyvale Public Safety releases suspect photos
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) detectives continue to investigate a May 7 armed robbery that occurred at a 7-11 store located at 1201 Wildwood Ave. in Sunnyvale. Two suspects entered the 7-11 and approached the clerk. One of the suspects produced a handgun and threatened the clerk, while the other demanded money and cigarettes.
Both suspects are described as Hispanic male adults in their late teens or early twenties. Images of the suspects were captured on the 7-11 security system. Also captured on the imaging system was a vehicle that investigators believe contained a person or persons acting as a look-out during the robbery. That vehicle is believed to be either a 2006 or 2007 blue, two-door Pontiac G6. It is believed that the suspects fled in a newer model black SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
Thus far, DPS Investigators have been unable to identify the suspects or vehicle in this case. Police are asking that anyone who recognizes the suspects or vehicle in the crime scene photos contact Detective Jose Ramirez at (408) 730-7120.
