SUNNYVALE OPENS COMMUNITY AWARD NOMINATIONS

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Each year, the City of Sunnyvale honors exceptional members of the Sunnyvale Community. The City has opened nominations for this year’s awards, which will be presented at the mayor’s State of the City celebration, Saturday, September 13. This year’s prestigious awards include:

·         Distinguished Resident of the Year

·         Outstanding High School Senior of the Year

·         Outstanding Community Volunteer

·         Outstanding Educator

·         Outstanding Businessperson of the Year

·         Outstanding Contribution to the Arts

·         Outstanding Environmental Achievement

Nomination forms are available for download at StateoftheCity.inSunnyvale.com. Following the nomination period, which closes Friday, August 1, at 5 p.m., a committee chosen by Sunnyvale Mayor Anthony (Tony) Spitaleri will select the award recipients.
