S.R. 237 OVERNIGHT CLOSURES IN SUNNYVALE

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Portions of S.R. 237 between Mathilda Avenue and Lawrence Expressway will be closed overnight between July 9 and July 11. The closure is necessitated by work on the City of Sunnyvale’s Borregas Avenue pedestrian overcrossing construction project.

Eastbound S.R. 237 will be closed at Mathilda Avenue from 11 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, to 4 a.m., Thursday, July 10, with all lanes reopening by 4:30 a.m. Westbound S.R. 237 will be closed at Lawrence Expressway from 11 p.m., Thursday, July 10, to 4 a.m., Friday, July 11, with all lanes reopening by 5:30 a.m. During scheduled construction hours, there will be limited or no access from Mathilda Avenue and Lawrence Expressway to S.R. 237. There will be numerous message boards and detour signs in the area to direct traffic. Construction crews will attempt to minimize the impact on traffic during these closures.
