CITY OF SUNNYVALE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S CLOSURES

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Sunnyvale City offices will be closed Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday, and again on Wednesday, December 31, and Thursday, January 1, for the New Year’s holiday. Other Sunnyvale City activities will operate as listed:

• Traffic and parking: All regulations will be enforced except for parking where signs specifically exempt holidays (on December 25 and January 1); all regulations enforced on December 24 and 31.
• Community Facilities: The Library and the Community Center will be closed December 24, 25 and 31 and January 1. The Senior Center will be closed December 24 through December 27 and again from December 31 through January 3. The Recreation Center administrative offices will be closed from December 24 through January 3. Columbia Neighborhood Center will also be closed December 24, 25, 26 and 31, and January 1 and 2.
• Garbage and Recycling collection: No change to collection services on December 24. Collection service regularly scheduled for Thursdays (December 25 and January 1) will be provided that Friday. Collection service regularly scheduled for Fridays (December 26 and January 2) will be provided that Saturday.
  
• SMaRT Station®: The SMaRT Station will be closed on December 25 and January 1. On all other days, the SMaRT station will operate on its normal,
  8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule.
