COMMITTEE NOTICES AND NEWS
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is a seven member advisory committee that meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the West Conference Room of City Hall. Members have knowledge of or interest in bicycling and pedestrian issues in the City of Sunnyvale. The purpose of the committee is to make recommendations regarding the prioritization of bicycle and pedestrian projects to the City Council, and for prioritization and implementation of Sunnyvale's Bicycle Program as outlined in the 1992 Bicycle Plan. The BPAC works closely with the Department of Public Safety and school district representatives in the formulation of enhanced education and bicycle safety programs.
