MINUTES

PRESENT: Frank Agabah, Loretta Booker, Karen Bushman, Werner Gans

ALSO PRESENT: Mark Gregersen, Secretary to the Board Mindy Vargas, Recording Secretary

Call to Order
Vice-Chairman Booker called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.

Approval of Minutes
Gans moved the minutes of the February 2003 meeting be approved as submitted, seconded by Bushman and unanimously carried.

Review of Suggestions
Gans moved an award of $100 for Suggestion 01-107, H.R. Suggestion. Seconded by Booker. Vote was 2 for, 2 against. Bushman moved an award of $50. Seconded by Booker. 3 for, 1 against, motion carries. Suggestor: Kerry Adamo, Human Resources.

Gans moved no award for Suggestion #DPW-03-1-204, Vehicle Safety in Corp Yard. Seconded by Bushman and unanimously approved. Suggestor: Justin Chapel, Public Works.

Gans moved no award for Suggestion #DPR-03-1-205, Skate Park Security. Seconded by Bushman and unanimously approved. Suggestor:Jack Mastilock, Parks and Recreation.

Gans moved an award of $50 for Suggestion #DPR-03-2-210, Metal Frame for Containing 5 Thompson Motor Bodies. Seconded by Agabah and unanimously approved. Suggestor: Rick LaRosa, Public Works.

There being no further business, Booker motioned to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Bushman. Meeting adjourned at 5:21 p.m.

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Personnel Board will be held on Monday, April 21, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
