MINUTES
PRESENT: Frank Agabah, , Karen Bushman, Werner Gans
ALSO PRESENT: Mark Gregersen, Secretary to the Board, Mindy Vargas, Recording Secretary
Call to Order
Acting Chair Gans called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
Bushman noted that the day of the week of the next regularly scheduled Personnel Board Meeting needed to be corrected to read "Monday" in the minutes of the May 2003 meeting. Bushman moved the minutes of the May 2003 meeting be approved as corrected, seconded by Agabah and unanimously carried.
Review of Suggestions
Bushman moved an award of $100 for Suggestion #DPS-02-11-201, Fire Prevention Training/Information Binder. Seconded by Gans and unanimously approved. Suggestor: George Blind, Department of Public Safety.
Bushman moved no award for Suggestion #DPW-03-5-216, Slow Moving Vehicle Signs. Seconded by Agabah and unanimously approved. Suggestor: Ryan Fossen, Department of Public Works.
Other
Mark Gregersen told the Board that there are two candidates for the Personnel Board being interviewed tonight and a decision will be made tomorrow.

There being no further business, Bushman motioned the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Gans. The meeting was adjourned at 5:12 p.m.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Personnel Board will be held on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
