ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS

 

This hearing is conducted to consider minor land use applications such as Use Permits, Variances and Special Development Permits that have been determined to be exempt from the for environmental analysis and are thought to have minimal affect on adjacent properties. All interested parties are invited to attend the Administrative Hearing to voice their opinions about applications. Decisions made at Administrative Hearing may be appealed to the Planning Commission.

 

The Administrative Hearings are typically held twice a month on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m., in the West Conference Room at City Hall. Scheduled hearing dates are indicated in the Meeting Calendar. The project applicant should attend. Appeals from the decision of the Administrative Hearing Officer may be made within 15 days of the date of the public hearing. Administrative Hearing appeals are heard by the Planning Commission. Some decisions by the Planning Commission may be appealed to the City Council, others are final and may not be appealed.
