SUNNYVALE GENERAL PLAN

A General Plan is a long term policy document. It is a statement of purpose that is composed of all the goals and policies of its citizens. As a statement of general direction, the General Plan document sets the guidelines and course of actions for moving from existing conditions to desired conditions. Sunnyvale's General Plan is a unique document that reflects the City’s administrative organization and its service delivery system. The General Plan is composed of separate and independent documents called elements and sub-elements. General Plan goals and policies are available on-line. To obtain a copy of an entire element of sub-element, please call the Planning Division at (408) 730-7440 or email us at planning@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us.
