LOOKING FOR A GREAT JOB?
COME TO THE YOUTH JOB FAIR
Sunnyvale, CA – The NOVA Youth Employment Office will hold it’s annual YOUTH JOB FAIR on Wednesday, May 16 from 4:00 – 6:00pm at the NOVA Youth Employment Office, on the second floor of the Silicon Valley WAVE (formerly the Sunnyvale Town Center Mall).
Many local employers will have representatives available to talk with job seekers about their company. Also participating are WAVE businesses preparing to hire individuals for various positions within their stores. Youth attending the job fair are encouraged to go to the Youth Office first to receive a list of participating mall stores.
The Youth Job Fair offers many positive benefits to both employers and job seekers. Employers participating in the Job Fair will gain the opportunity to immediately match their needs with available candidates. Job seekers will also benefit by meeting potential employers and learning about different job opportunities, all by visiting one location.
NOVA is a seven-city employment training consortium administered by the City of Sunnyvale. The NOVA Youth Employment Office is a no-cost job placement and referral service and is available to assist teens in locating jobs. Job readiness counseling and workshops are also available.
