LOOKING FOR A GREAT JOB?
COME TO THE YOUTH JOB FAIR
Sunnyvale, CA (4/29/02) -- The NOVA Youth Employment Office will hold its annual YOUTH JOB FAIR on Wednesday, May 15 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the NOVA Youth Employment Office, on the second floor of the Silicon Valley WAVE (formerly the Sunnyvale Town Center Mall) at 2583 Town Center Lane.
Many local employers including UPS, Saratoga Springs Day Camp, Children’s Discovery Museum and the San Francisco Giants Youth Baseball Camp will have representatives available to talk with job seekers. Youth aged 14-24 can take advantage of one-on-one job information meetings, as well as participate in multiple on-the-spot interviews for both summer and full-time positions. Employers will also benefit by participating in the Job Fair, as they will gain the opportunity to immediately match their needs with available candidates
NOVA is a seven-city employment training consortium administered by the City of Sunnyvale. The NOVA Youth Employment Office is a no-cost job placement and referral service and is available to assist teens in locating jobs. Job readiness counseling and workshops are also available.
