Sunnyvale Tip A Cop Fundraiser for Special Olympics

Sunnyvale, CA (05/22/02) Sunnyvale Public Safety Officers and Spoons Restaurant in Sunnyvale are joining together to help raise funds for Special Olympics. Plan on having dinner at Spoons Restaurant, 725 S. Fair Oaks Avenue in Sunnyvale on Thursday, May 30 from 5 PM to 9 PM. You will be served by a police officer in uniform or a Special Olympics athlete. Any amount over and above the regular waitstaff tip will be collected and donated to the Special Olympics.

"The public is invited to come, have a delicious dinner and support a very worthy case," said Officer Ralph Chavez.
