Community Invited to September 11 Commemorative Event
Sunnyvale, CA (9/4/02) – The City of Sunnyvale, along with community volunteers, will hold a commemorative event on September 11, in front of City Hall at 456 West Olive Avenue.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with patriotic music from the Fremont High School Band. Highlights of the program will include participatory singing with the ‘Music School Chorus’--a children’s community choir, a special tribute to public safety officials and others, and a candle-lighting ceremony. Leaders of various faith communities will also be recognized.
