BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS FALL RECRUITMENT
Sunnyvale, CA (09/26/02) -- The City of Sunnyvale has its fall recruitment underway for new Boards and Commissions members. This is an opportunity to serve as an advisor to the City Council and make a difference in shaping Sunnyvale's future. Two general recruitment information meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, and Wednesday, November 6, in the West Conference Room at Sunnyvale City Hall, located at 456 W. Olive Avenue.
The City has openings on the following Boards and Commissions: Arts Commission, Board of Building Code Appeals, Heritage Preservation Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Personnel Board, and Child Care Advisory Board.
The City Clerk's Division is available to answer any questions that you may have regarding the role of the members of the Boards and Commissions, and assist you with your application. Please submit your application to the City Clerk's office by Friday, November 15, 2002.
