That the City Council, by resolution, accept the project as complete and satisfactory.

The Contractor, Redwood General and Mechanical, has satisfactorily completed the Lawrence Lift Station Improvements project within the allocated budget and for the final contract amount of $132,700.00.

The work included replacing existing pumps with new pumps more suited to passing foreign material, and realignment of the force main. The old pump station well was abandoned and the new pumps installed in the old wet well. Also included was removal of the old controls and installation of new controls.

The work was done to improve performance and reduce maintenance of the old lift station.

The project was inspected by the Public Works Project Administration Section and found to be satisfactory. Acceptance is, therefore, recommended.
