Senior Center

Learn new skills, make friends, attend special events and stay healthy at the Sunnyvale Senior Center (located at the Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive). The Center provides a variety of educational, recreational and health-related services for adults 50 years and older.

In addition, the Center provides case management, care planning and referrals to community services for seniors and their families.

Center Hours
7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday

Business Hours
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday


An annual membership provides free or discounted rates for Center services and activities. To become a member, you need to be 50 years or older and pay an annual fee. Fill out and return your application to the front desk at the Senior Center during business hours.

Membership is not required to participate in most programs through the Senior Center.

Basic Membership costs $28 for residents and $43 for nonresidents and includes:

  • Activity guide subscription
  • Billiard room and computer lab access
  • Drop-in programs, lectures, game days and movies
  • Discounts on special events
  • $5 discount for classes offered through the Senior Center


Premium membership costs $32 for residents and $50 for nonresidents and, in addition to the benefits of basic membership, includes:

  • Fitness room access
  • Pickleball passes
  • Table tennis
  • Two drop-in passes
  • $5 one-time discount coupon for older adult classes


Membership Application

Membership renewals begin every January.

Care Management Services

The Center provides assessments, care planning, case management and referrals to community services for all adults age 50 and over who live in Sunnyvale.
