The purpose of Storytime is to encourage children's love of language and literature in all its forms. Kids listen to and imitate the stories and activities we share, thus building reading readiness as they grow. The goal is to create a positive and enriching experience for parents, caregivers and children to enjoy together.

Every week Sunnyvale Public Library offers programs matched to the typical attention spans and developmental levels of different ages of children. We encourage you to look through our wide variety of age-specific storytimes to find the one most appropriate for your child.

Homework Help

Anyone in Kindergarten through Grade 7 in need of help with homework can now get it at the Library through the Sunnyvale Study Buddies program! There are also a variety of online resources available to help with homework.

Reading Lists

We want you to read! Figuring out what to read can be challenging, so the librarians have put together age-appropriate selections of books for your family.
