Homework Help

Biography Reference Center - Full-text biographies on figures in history, science, the arts, multicultural and gender studies, business, government and politics, sports and entertainment.

History Reference Center - Reference books, encyclopedias and nonfiction books; historical documents, biographies, historical photos, maps and videos and cover-to-cover full text for history periodicals.

Literary Reference Center - Find information on thousands of authors and their works, such as author biographies, plot summaries, full-text essays and book reviews from leading publishers.

Points of View - Collections of essays that present multiple sides of current issues.

Tutor.com - An online tutoring service for students. Real-time help from a tutor is available daily from noon to midnight. Online resources are available 24/7. Use Tutor.com for help with more than 60 school subjects, including math, science, English and more.

Volunteer

Apply to be a part of the Teen Volunteer Library Advisory Board and get leadership experience as well as volunteer hours.

We're looking for teens, 13 to 18, who want to get involved in their Library community, giving input on the Teen Collection and programs, as well as planning and assisting with programs for younger kids. This is a great chance for teens looking for an ongoing opportunity to take on leadership roles in the community.
