Sunnyvale Public Library is open for in-building services as of Tuesday, April 13, pending the County's ability to remain in the Orange Tier for at least two weeks. Things have changed inside since the last time you visited.

What to Expect When You Visit
Building open hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m.
Access to all library materials

Low-touch checkout machines

What to bring with you:
Physical library card OR your library card barcode located in the SPL Mobile Library App for low-touch checkout machines
Non-vented mask covering chin, mouth, and nose up to the bridge of the nose
Bag or small cart from home for selecting and carrying library materials
During Your In-Person Visit
Please do not visit in person if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
The number of people inside the building is initially limited to 50 at a time. Staff at the front door will monitor occupancy and ask you to wait outside should we reach capacity.
To minimize the amount of time spent indoors, please limit your visit to a maximum of 30 minutes.
All persons are required to wear a mask at all times and to maintain a physical distance of at least six feet from others.
Hand sanitizer available throughout the building.
To provide more space for social distancing, all tables and chairs have been removed.
