The Great Candy Cane Hunt

Go on a Hunt and Win a Prize

Check out our 4 foot-tall candy canes decorated with winter holiday cheer. Stroll outdoors at the Sunnyvale Community Center to see all 22 candy canes.

Candy canes are on view:
Thursday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Jan. 2. during daylight hours

  • Use the map to go on our hunt and win a prize
  • Fill out the second page of the map
  • Stop by the Recreation Center and show your completed map to receive a prize
  • Recreation Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Santa at the Orchard

Ho Ho Ho! Santa is coming to Sunnyvale. Bring your camera and letters to Santa.


Have fun with these activities:

  • Take holiday photos with Santa
  • Drop your letters to Santa in his mailbox
  • Get a holiday stocking (children under 12)
  • Watch the balloon artist
  • Visit the Arts & Crafts station
  • Snap selfies at the holiday-selfie station

COVID-19 Protocols

All participants over age 2 are required to wear a face mask.

For contact tracing: You will need to provide a list of names of everyone in your party at the event.

If someone in your party develops symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19, you must email or call (408-730-7338) the City's COVID-19 Designee immediately.

The event will align with the safety protocols in the most current State Health or Santa Clara County order (whichever is stricter).

22nd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

Ring in the holiday season with entertainment for the entire family.
