Inspire your young artists and makers at the 34th annual Hands on the Arts Festival. This all-day multi-cultural arts event for children features over 35 hands-on activities or workshops led by professional artists.
Hands on the Arts Festival
Who: Recommended for children age 2 years and older
When: May 18, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The festival supports the City's STEM to STEAM initiative with workshops that integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics with art.
Some workshops introduce children to unique art forms from different cultures, such as: Indonesian batik painting, Japanese kabuto hats, Venetian mask making, Chinese calligraphy and Mexican Folklorico dancing.

Admission In Advance (until May 17, 6 p.m.): $10 wristband per child (includes a free gift)
Admission Day of Festival: $15 wristband per child
Admission fees are nonrefundable.
Buy your child's wristband in advance and receive a FREE gift. If you purchase in advance, you can pick up your free gift, along with your child's admission wristband and souvenir bag, at Will Call on the day of the festival. (One gift per advance ticket purchased.)
No need to worry about parking your car. Just pedal over to the Sunnyvale Community Center and park in style on the Festival grounds.
Staff will monitor your bike in our secured bike valet parking during your stay. Receive a bike reflector and a commemorative sticker at the Bike Valet Check-in.
Bike Valet Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Join Public Safety Officers and Library staff on a fun bike ride to the festival.
