Screening of 'Straws: A Documentary for a Sea of Change'
When: Aug. 27, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Sunnyvale Public Library Program Room, 665 W. Olive Ave.
Cost: Free

According to Straws, each day, an estimated 500,000,000+ plastic single-use straws are used once and thrown away—and that’s in the United States alone.

When you're dining out or getting takeout, bring a reusable straw or skip the straw completely and make an important impact in the fight against plastic pollution.
