Bike Parade to Hands on the Arts

Grab your bike and helmet and join the City's Public Safety Officers and Library staff for a Bike Parade to the Hands on the Arts Festival at the Sunnyvale Community Center. Enjoy a fun alternative to driving to the festival.

Bike Parade to Hands on the Arts Festival

When: May 18, 9 a.m.
Meet at: Sunnyvale Public Library Plaza, 665 W. Olive Ave.
Depart: 9:20 a.m. (approximately) Bike ride will take 20 minutes. The Parade is scheduled to arrive before the festival begins at 10 a.m.

The Bike Parade includes:

• Library staff and Public Safety Officer escort from the Sunnyvale Public Library to the Sunnyvale Community Center*
• A bike reflector to keep and wear during the parade
• A free backpack for the first 100 participants who register and attend the Bike Parade
• Priority access to Bike Valet Parking and WILL CALL Ticket pickup (buy your tickets early and save)

*We're planning escorted bike rides from the festival back to the Library at 1:30 and 4:10 p.m. Please sign up for a return trip at the Hands on the Arts Festival at the Bike Valet Parking area.

To participate:

• You must sign a waiver. We will have waivers for you to sign at the Library before we depart. Minors must have a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver.
• Children 17 and younger must wear a bicycle helmet to participate.
• You must follow all traffic and safety laws at all times during the Bike Parade.

Bike Valet Parking

No need to worry about parking your car. Just pedal over to the Sunnyvale Community Center and park in style on the festival grounds.

Staff will monitor your bike in our secured bike valet parking during your stay. Receive a commemorative sticker at the Bike Valet Check-in.

Bike Valet Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
