Sunnyvale Unity Gathering (Updated)


The LIGHT & LOVE posters from the Sunnyvale Unity Gathering are now at Sunnyvale Senior Center. Help Sunnyvale heal and move forward by making a commitment to spread love and spread light.

1. Write down on a post-it note an action you will take to make Sunnyvale a more connected and united community

2. Add your post-it note to the “Light & Love” posters on the wall at the Senior Center, 550 E. Remington Dr.

3. Take a selfie and share your commitment with other community members with hashtag #SunnyvaleUnity and tag at @CityofSunnyvale on FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

The City is partnering with the Islamic Networks Group - ING, faith leaders, local nonprofits, and community members to host a Unity Gathering. Join us in support of the eight pedestrians injured on April 23 and to find ways to heal and strengthen our ties.

When: Wednesday, May 29, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Sunnyvale Senior Center, 550 E. Remington Drive

Program to Include:

  • Invocation 
  • Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue
  • Call to Action
  • Cultural Celebration by Local Mosques (Iftar Celebration: Refreshments to be served)
