COVID-19 Impacts on City Services

Sunnyvale provides garbage collection and recycling services to all residences and businesses in the City at least once per week, as well as operates a recycling center at the SMaRT Station®.

For residential customers, use our How to Get Rid of Anything tool to:

  • Find how to dispose of, recycle or reuse anything
  • Request on-call collection for extra garbage pickup at the curb
  • Set up reminders about trash days, holiday schedules and recycling events
  • View your collection schedule
