The city manager has three core services: effectively supporting the City Council with its policymaking process; overseeing the City’s day-to-day operations and making sure the resources and assets are as optimal as possible; and strategic planning and helping the council visualize what the community wants to be and developing tactical action items to achieve that.
Provides leadership, strategic direction and overall policy guidance for the City and is directly responsible for all day-to-day operations. The City Manager serves as the City’s Chief Executive Officer responsible to the City Council and City Charter for the proper administration of all affairs of the City.
