This month's selection is True Sisters, by Sandra Dallas. In 1856, Mormon converts Nannie, Louisa, Jessie and Anne make the 1,300-mile journey on foot from Iowa City to Salt Lake City. Each woman will test the boundaries of her faith and learn the true meaning of survival and friendship along the way.
Pick up a copy of the book at the Senior Center Desk. If you borrow a book from the Senior Center and finish before the discussion, please return the book so that others may borrow. On the meeting date, bring any copies to the meeting to return.
The Senior Center Book Groups meets every month on the third Friday in the Laurel Room at the Sunnyvale Senior Center. You do not have to be a member of the Sunnyvale Senior Center nor the Sunnyvale Public Library to take part.
Here are the current Senior Center Book Group selections.
