Hands on the Arts Festival is the City's all-day children's art festival. Your children can try a variety of art forms from different cultures. With a diversity of workshops, entertainment and food, there's something for everyone.
What: The 39th annual Hands on the Arts Festival
When: Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive
This is a FREE event.
Arts and Entertainment
The festival has engaging entertainment for the whole family, including:
- Arts and crafts workshops for children led by professional artists
- All art supplies are included. Recommended for children ages 3 to 13.
- Cultural performance groups and professional entertainers
- Music, dance and short play performances
- Hands on the Arts workshop dance exhibitions
- Roving performers who interact with you around the Festival
Food for Purchase
A variety of delicious, diverse food will be available for sale. There will be something to meet everyone's taste buds.
Food is available during the entire event.
Transportation – Buses and Parking
VTA Buses
Line 55 - Picks up and drops off at Sunnyvale Saratoga Road and Crescent Avenue.
Line 22/522 - Picks up and drops off at El Camino Real and Fair Oaks Avenue.
