• Read about the Qualifications and Composition category requirements.
  • Requirements are different for each board or commission. Check that you meet the requirements.
• See when Meetings are held.
  • If you want to serve, it's a good idea to go to meetings. You can get familiar with the board's duties and meet current members.
• Review the Work Plan for the year.

Apply early

Check the application deadline for Current Recruitments and apply by the deadline.

We accept applications throughout the year for future openings. We retain applications for one year.

We’ll guide you through the process with our online application.

You may apply for multiple boards or commissions. You’ll select them in your order of preference.

We’ll contact you within two business days about next steps.

We schedule qualified applicants for an interview with City Council.

City Council makes board and commission appointments at their regular meetings.
